The host cancellation policy refers to the specific terms and conditions you set for each of your listing(s) regarding booking cancellations. It outlines the consequences for travelers if they decide to cancel their reservation.
The policy specifies how far in advance they must cancel to minimize penalties and the conditions under which they can receive a full or partial refund. You can choose from two cancellation policies (flexible and strict) levels based on your preferences and the nature of your property.
Flexible:
- Up to 7 days before check-in: No payout will be issued for the host.
- Between 6 days and 24 hours before check-in time: 50% of your payout will be issued.

Less than 24 hours before check-in time: You will receive 100% of your payout.
Please note that these payouts are recalculated without cleaning fees.
Strict:
- Up to 14 days before check-in (default is 3 PM): You'll receive 30% of the expected payout.
- Between 13 days and 24 hours before check-in: You'll receive 70% of the payout.

How do I update my cancellation policy?
Hosts can view and update their cancellation policy by following these steps:
1. Access Your Listings:
Click on "Edit Listing" for the desired property.
2. Review Booking Conditions:
Navigate to the "Booking Conditions" section to view your current policy.
3. Make Changes:
You can update your cancellation policy at any time. Please note that any changes will only apply to new bookings made after the update. Existing bookings will adhere to the policy in effect at the time of booking.
