When changing your place of residence on your misterb&b host account, it’s important to be aware of the potential consequences of this update:
Payment method:
Your place of residence determines how you get paid (e.g., PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer). Changing your residence may mean that your previous payment method is no longer available. If that happens, you’ll need to update your banking information to match one of the payment methods available in your new country of residence. Please note that your bank account must be located in the same country as your new residence. If you don’t make this change, you may risk not receiving payouts for future bookings. Any pending payouts will be processed once this update is complete. To learn about the payment methods available in your region, please contact us.
Payout currency:
A change in residence may also affect the currency in which you receive your payouts. This depends on the payment method available in your new country (see above). If you’d like to confirm which currencies will apply after your residence change, please contact us.
Listing currency:
When you change your place of residence, your listing prices will automatically be updated to the currency used in your new country. It’s important to review your updated prices to make sure you agree with them. You can adjust your listing prices at any time to reflect the rates you want to charge your guests.
Please note that all the updates mentioned above will apply only to future bookings, not to those that have already been accepted.
