Here we have a list of recommendations we provide our hosts to use as guidelines regarding the information they can share with their guests.
Photographs of Your Listing:
Potential guests expect that the pictures of your listing are accurate and transparent. It is in your best interest to include a number of pictures that give a broad sense of the accommodation you are offering. These should include photos of the bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen, and any other special details like amenities, outdoor spaces, and parking. It is also nice to include photos of nearby sites and attractions.
We recommend a minimum of 10 pictures per listing, but you can add up to a maximum of 20 if you wish. Listings with 10 or more pictures get more inquiries and requests than other listings with fewer.
Listing Description:
Aside from the photos, the description of your accommodation is one of the most important aspects of your listing. We recommend that you describe the size of your accommodation, the number of rooms, various amenities, number and size of beds, transportation accessibility, accommodation for individuals with special needs, number of floors, shops in the vicinity, directions from the airport or train station and anything else that can make your home stand out!
Private Information:
This is a space where you can share critical information with the guest after a reservation has been made and confirmed. Typically, you can add contact information, directions to your place, Wi-Fi codes, or special instructions.
House rules:
On the “House Rules” field, please make sure you write a set of rules for your guests to follow while they stay at your property. Having a set of rules will surely avoid any inconveniences or unwanted situations. It can also protect you against any claims launched against you if the rules do not happen to be clear. Having a tour with the guest at check-in is a great way to welcome them to your place. It is also a perfect time to make guests aware of what is available to them during their stay.
Consider these rules: noise curfew, pets, visitors, smoking, parties, access to other rooms in the house, etc.
It’s now time for you to update your listing with these recommendations.
They will surely put you on the right path to receiving more attention from our users - surely something which will translate to more bookings!
