What happens if a guest doesn’t respond to my pre-approval?

When you pre-approve a request, please note that your calendar does not get blocked until the traveler confirms the booking.

A traveler has the option to send several pre-approval requests to different hosts, just as you have the right to pre-approve different bookings until one gets confirmed. After 24 hours without any answer from a guest, the booking will expire. The guest will still have the possibility to send you another booking request after it expires, however. You will then have to re-accept it should you wish to confirm the booking.

We encourage you to provide as much information as possible on your listing so that travelers will have all the details they need in order to send you a request.
