What is an IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code?

The IBAN is used to identify your account (only in Europe) and is necessary for any bank transfer from our part. It can be used only to pay money into the account, not pay out. The IBAN appears in the following format: country code of two letters (ES, FR, etc.) followed by 16 and 34 digits (and possibly a few letters). It is important to indicate the letters of your IBAN capitalised.

SWIFT enables identification of your bank (Worldwide). You can find it on the internet or contact your bank to get it. It often appears as follows: series of 8-11 characters, capital letters and numbers combined.
